Does your special needs child love to dance? Crown Pointe Dance Studio will be providing a Ballet Class with options specifically tailored for students ages 6 years to 12 years with Down Syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy called Ballet Abilities. This class will allow the students to improve motor skills, express emotions, gain muscle control, build confidence, have fun and make new friends. Ballet can also be a unique and effective way to reach students with special needs because it is nonverbal. Through simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, and rhythm.
Parents can feel safe leaving their children in an environment where they are guided by teachers who care. Parents are also welcome to stay and watch on the TV in the waiting area.
